The Glens of Antrim has a rich cultural heritage with a strong oral and musical tradition which draws from the folklore and legends of this place. Born out of a passion project this illusrtrated story was a journey I myself took through the emotions and stages of the grieving process. The story and artwork narrative were created by applying the theories and functions of Vladimir Propp (1968) any tale can have seven roles within it, this tale uses four of these; The victim, the donor or dispatcher, the villain and the magical helper.
